SASSPARILLA (Portland) at their core are the true sound of Portland. Their music is dirty-grass, indie-roots, punk-Americana all rolled into one epic sound. Not to mention, Sassparilla offer one of the most entertaining and sweaty live shows in the Pacific Northwest. The band is comprised of Kevin “Gus” Blackwell (vocals, cigar box guitar, national resonator guitar), Ross “Dagger” Macdonald (harmonica), Colin “Sweet Pea” Macdonald (washtub bass), Naima (vocals, accordion, washboard), and Justin Burkhart (drums).

Hook & Anchor (formally Clampitt Family) are a Portland-based band and brain child of Erik Clampitt (Clampitt, Gaddis & Buck) and Kati Claborn(Blind Pilot). The two formed Clampitt Family in early 2007. Their sound is a mixture of traditional Americana themes, old-time instrumentation and rich vocal harmonies. Erik, and the other dozen plus Portland stringbands, is the very reason we started this whole “Portland Invasion” thing way back in 2007. Each year Erik brings with him a caravan of Portland’s finest pickers and singers. Tonight’s show will feature Erik (vocals, guitar, pedal steel), Kati (vocals, banjo, ukulele, guitar), Gabrielle Macrae (fiddle, banjo, vocals), Luke Ydstie (upright bass, vocals), and Ryan Dobrowski (drums). Trust us, you’re in for a tasty treat!

Left Coast Country  Get ready San Francisco, LEFT COAST COUNTRY are gonna blow your mind. This Portland-based bluegrass and country outfit deliver both high-energy originals and an authentic take on traditional sounds stemming from Bill Monroe to Towns van Zandt. Their live shows are an experience in itself, and guaranteed to get you up dancing like a crazy old-timer.
