Using Carter Family songs as a jumping off place, we will work with three part harmony in this beautiful style. Finding simple harmony lines that sometimes weave around the melody, sometimes cross or create unisons, students will develop a better ability to hear the parts, as well as what gives the harmonies the old-time country sound, and power.

Evie Ladin is a natural entertainer with a gift for infusing folk practices with contemporary verve. –SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE
