| Blue & Lonesome is a traditional bluegrass band that brings together accomplished muscians Ed Neff (mandolin & vocals), Mike Wilhoyte (guitar and vocals), Larry Cohea (banjo & vocals), Paul Shelasky (fiddle) and Jeff King (bass & vocals). The band captures the traditional sound of bluegrass music, as it was intended to be played, incorporating the experience and talents of five of the top traditional players in the business today.
| Savannah Blu Savanna Blu brings a wide variety of musical perspectives and experience together in one fine band. Individually they have played with greats like Willie Nelson, Alison Brown, Vassar Clements and have made their way in touring bands and onto the stage in bands local to the Bay Area. So together — with Gary Kaye on Banjo, Dore Coller on guitar & dobro, Dave Hanks on mandolin, Steve Kallai on fiddle, and Dan Large on bass — their show is going to have the polish and kick you'd expect from some veteran pros — don't miss 'em.
| Bay Area based Emily Bonn & The Vivants perform original foot stompin' tunes about riots, hollers, and hopping train cars. Largely inspired by the energy of old-time dance tunes, honky-tonk country and Western swing, The Vivants play their own brand of American roots music, shining up dusty melodies with modern arrangements. In former incarnations, Emily honed her songs performing in San Francisco BART stations, Belgian prisons, and at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. She is joined by stellar players, Anna Levitt on fiddle and vocal harmonies, James Touzel on upright bass, and Isaac Bonnell on piano accordion.
