The Champagne of Honky-Tonk. These six young, talented musicians came together through the San Francisco bluegrass scene and emerged with a fresh, energetic and exciting new sound for California alt-country and Americana music. They blend tradition with innovation in their mix of creative original music and fresh takes on classic country, bluegrass, and old-time tunes. Telecaster twang, fiery fiddle, rowdy-as-hell harp, fine harmonies, and driving rhythm set the Whisky Richards apart from the pack these honky-tonkers will get your boots stompin' and your heart pounding! The Whisky Richards features J. Logan Barrier (drums), Chase Christie (guitar, vocals), Joe Kenny (bass), Katy Rexford (fiddle, vocals), Adam Roszkiewicz (Telecaster), and Sean Tracey (harmonica).

Mad Cow Stringband   This mad group of string-plucking UC Davis alumni coalesced in 2003 and for the rest ensuing years honed their craft, keeping their rabidly enthusiastic Davis fans dancing to the Mad Cow brand of high energy string music. Somewhere along the way, the raw, youthful enthusiasm they poured into their music morphed into a highly skilled bluegrass sound. The band's tight instrumentation and soaring harmonies captivate the listener and conjure up images of a simpler time in acoustic music. The boys draw from influences ranging from the slick bluegrass new guards such as Hot Rize, the energetic old-timey sounds of the contemporary Old Crow Medicine Show and the Dickel Brothers, and the classic high and lonesome of the Stanley/Monroe era, and even the gypsy string swing of Reinhardt and Grappelli. All multi-instrumentalist and song-writing members Tim Delaney, Alex Roth, Danny Chaves, and Andy Lentz share the stage and the microphone by swapping instruments, lead vocals, and solos on guitar, mandolin, upright bass, banjo, and fiddle. Featured part-time member, Sean Feder (Rita Hosking and Cousin Jack), adds the fifth dimension on bass and banjo.

Lady A & Her Heel Draggers are a SF based Western swing band formed by members of several prominent area roots Americana groups, including members of the Mad Cow String Band, Five Dollar Suit, and the Real Sippin' Whiskeys. They focus on the sounds of the classic era of Western Swing and honky-tonk music, when country music still swung hard and had more than 3 chords. This is high-energy music to keep our fans dancing and drinking. The band features Will Fourt on guitar, Mikiya Matsuda on steel guitar, Eric Chaves on accordion and clarinet, Danny Chaves on upright bass, Leif Karlstrom on fiddle, Michael Brilliot on drums and of course, the beautiful and powerful voice of Lady A belting the tunes out front.
