The West County Professional Tea Sippers Old-Time String Band features harmony singing and a variety of traditional instrumentation, including delicate and fearless lead and rhythm autoharp pickin', fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and guitar. Their repertoire includes original songs and 20's and 30's gems: crooked Appalachian fiddle tunes, old-time country blues, songs of the Carter Family, old-time Gospel, and a few from a new cup. The band's two original songwriters capture the essence of home in California and lost love anywhere. The Tea Sippers are Laura Lind (autoharp, lead & harmony vocal, songwriting), Searle Whitt (fiddle, lead & harmony vocals, songwriting), David Brown (banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, vocals), and Dave Krinkel (guitar, Dobro, silence). Check out their stove-top hot and newly released cd, "The Kettle is ON," including six new originals. Available on CD Baby.
