"You just don't hear music like this west of the Mason-Dixon line." The Squirrely Stringband plays old-time southern breakdowns and backwoods mountain music. You'll hear them belt it out at farmer's markets, square dances, parties, and music festivals. They are the first-place winners of the 2003 and 2006 Berkeley Farmer's Market Stringband Conventions. Members of the band are David Murray on fiddle, Debbie Berne on banjo, Allegra Yellin on guitar, and Rachel Kraai on washtub & bass.
