With influences ranging from old-time to jazz, rock to bluegrass, Old Tunnel Road likes the fact that they are indefinable. "I just like to play music that I am excited about," says mandolin player/singer TJ Carskadon. Old Tunnel Road's quirky set list embodies that excitement when they perform live, which never fails to make for a fun show. Curtis Young guitar/vocals, Fred Cone bass/vocals, Geoff Sargent dobro, and Scott Peterson fiddle/banjo/vocals round out the Old Tunnel Road roster. And yes, they are all from the East Bay . . . hence the name.
